Xiaomi announces list of phones set to get the latest Android update: Here are all the names | Gadgets Now

Xiaomi has announced the global rollout of MIUI 13, based on Android 12 operating system. The company made an announcement at the launch of Redmi 11 series in China. MIUI 13 is set to bring several new features to Xiaomi smartphones. This includes faster storage, higher background process efficiency, smarter processing, and longer battery life. Xiaomi also outlined additional features, such as new widgets and customization options; and Sidebar that allows users to access apps and tasks with just a swipe. Here’s the list of phones that will get the update during the first quarter of the year 2022.



Mi 11 Ultra: Rs 69,999

Xiaomi’s first true flagship in India Mi 11 Ultra is available at Rs 69,999. Launched in April 2021, Mi 11 Ultra sports a 6.81-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone also has a secondary rear display that is a 1.1-inch AMOLED display with 126×294 pixel resolution. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and comes in single 12GB RAM variant. For photos, there’s 50-megapixel primary sensor accompanied by a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 48-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. On the front, there’s 20MP sensor for selfies.



Mi 11i: Rs 26,999

The dual-SIM (Nano) Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G sports 6.67-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. For photos and videos, the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G has a triple rear camera setup that houses a 108-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.89 lens, along with an 8 megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 2 megapixel macro shooter.



Mi 11 Lite: Rs 23,999

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has 6.55-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM. Mi 11 Lite sports a triple rear camera with 64MP main sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 8MP ultra wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 5MP telemacro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.45 aperture. The smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster.



Xiaomi 11T Pro: Rs 39,999

Xiaomi 11T Pro is the company’s first mid-range premium flagship of 2022, priced at Rs 39,999. The phone sports a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. Xiaomi 11T Pro features a 108MP primary camera along with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 5MP telemacro camera on the back. The rear setup is capable of capturing up to 8K video at 30fps, or 4K video at 30/60fps. There is a 16MP front camera.



Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE: Rs 28,999

The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE features a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For photos and videos, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE offers triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 5-megapixel tele macro shooter at the back. On front, there’s a 20-megapixel selfie camera.



Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro, Redmi Note 11S, Redmi Note 11

Redmi Note 11 series just made its debut in China. The series is likely to launch in India in the coming weeks, its not clear how many phones of the series will launch in the Indian market. The new series comprises four models: Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11S, Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. All four models in the Redmi Note 11 series sport full-HD+ AMOLED displays and up to 128GB of onboard storage. The phones come with MIUI 13 out of the box in China.



Redmi Note 10 Pro: Rs 18,999

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 series in India in 2021. Priced at Rs 18,999, the smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 resolution. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor and packs a 5020 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. In terms of the camera, the Redmi Note 10 Pro has a 64MP primary camera setup alongside an 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera sensor.



Redmi Note 10: Rs 13,999

The Redmi Note 10 has a 6.43-inch full-HD+ super AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 octa-core processor paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. The phone has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 sensor, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, Redmi Note 10 has a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.
