After delivering back to back blockbusters with Vijay, South director Atlee teamed up with Shah Rukh Khan for a pan India drama. Shah Rukh Khan has been shooting for this much anticipated film, and there have been several speculations around the title and the film’s plot. Speculations were rife that SRK’s film is named ‘Lion’. Looks like the wait of the fans will soon come to an end as the buzz is that the makers are considering an official announcement on January 26! Reportedly, the makers are totally on board with the idea and are awaiting Shah Rukh Khan’s word on the decision.

Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee’s collaboration is touted to be an action packed entertainer. SRK will essay a double role in the movie, that of a father and a son. ‘Lion’ will also star Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles.

Following two years of pre-production work, the mega-budget film was shot in Mumbai and Pune. Reportedly the film is based on a bank robbery.

Apart from ‘Lion’, Shah Rukh Khan recently resumed the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Pathan’ and his latest picture from the sets went viral on the internet. The superstar’s long hair was tied in a pony and he flashed his infectious charm while posing for the picture. He is reportedly also collaborating with Rajkummar Hirani, and Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.
