NEW DELHI: Union minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday said that he has tested positive for Covid-19 and is experiencing mild symptoms.
“Following all the necessary protocols, I have isolated myself and I am under home quarantine. I request all those who have come in contact with me to isolate themselves and get tested,” Gadkari said on Twitter.

Gadkari is among the growing number of ministers and political leaders who have tested positive for the virus amid the ongoing third wave of the pandemic.
On Monday, Union defence minister Rajnath Singh said he has tested positive for Covid. Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai also tested positive later in the day.
