by BENGALURU: Granddaughter of former Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa was found hanging inside her flat in an apartment in Bengaluru’s Vasantanagar on Friday.
The deceased is Soundarya Neeraj, a doctor working with MS Ramaiah hospital. She was married to Dr Neeraj in 2019.
The incident came to light around 10am when the house help repeatedly knocked on the door and called Dr Neeraj when there was no response from inside. Neeraj opened the door and found Soundarya hanging from the ceiling fan in the bedroom.
According to police, prima facia evidences indicate it to be a suicide case.
