by CHANDIGARH: The SAD-BSP alliance manifesto released on Tuesday promised one lakh government jobs and 10 lakh jobs in private sector — with 75% job reservation for Punjabi youth in government and private sector — and providing 400-unit free power to every household per month.
The document also mentioned Rs 2,000 per month to women heads of BPL card families, MSP on fruits, vegetables and milk, Rs 10 lakh health insurance for all as well as a Rs 10 lakh student education card with interest-free loan for studying anywhere in the world. It also mentioned a shift to clean solar energy to ensure zero-bill electricity to every house.
The manifesto, ‘Gall Raj Di Nahi, Gall Punjab Di’, released by SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal and BSP’s Punjab affairs in charge Randhir Singh Beniwal also spoke of two deputy CMs — one each from Hindus and Dalits.
