He gain a lot of attention within days after the IPL auction, as he lived in a small quarter with two rooms at an LPG premises near Aligarh University. He was picked as all-rounder by Shahrukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders. His father delivers LPG cylinders to homes. He was first picked in IPL by Punjab Kings 2018 but didn’t got much chances to play. Later he was called for selection trials by Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians was also showing interest to pick him but KKR makes the deal with 80 Lakh rupees.
