Bappi Lahiri passed away on Tuesday night after he was rushed to the CritiCare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai. He was 69 and had multiple health issues reportedly.
“Lahiri had been admitted to the hospital for a month and was discharged on Monday. But his health deteriorated on Tuesday and his family called for a doctor to visit their home. He was brought to the hospital. He had multiple health issues. He died due to OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) shortly before midnight” Dr Deepak Namjoshi who treated Lahiri told PTI.
Meanwhile, Bollywood celebrities, including Ajay Devgn, Raveena Tandon, Bhumi Pednekar, Subhash Ghai and others are mourning the loss of the music gem on social media.
Fans have also gathered outside his Mumbai residence to catch a last glimpse of the Disco King.
