Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are all set to tie the knot today in the presence of close family and friends. Bollywood celebrities have started arriving at the venue and the ceremony is expected to begin shortly. Here’s all you need to know about this gala wedding:

A restricted guest list
Farhan and Shibani’s wedding ceremony will be attended by several high profile guests from Bollywood. Filmmakers like Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Ashutosh Gowariker have already arrived at the wedding. While Shibani’s bestie Rhea Chakraborty was also spotted at the venue. The couple’s restricted guest list includes celebrities like Monica Dogra, Ritesh Sidwani and Satish Shah among others.

Special wedding rituals
Contrary to speculations about a nikah or a Marathi ceremony, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar have opted for an intimate vow ceremony. Ditched the usual wedding rituals, the groom and bride have written down vows which they will read out today, reports India Today. Also, the wedding theme is reportedly pastels and whites.

Away from the din of the city, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar have opted for a personal space to officiate their wedding. The couple’s nuptials are being hosted at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s lavish farmhouse in Khandala.
