Feroz Khan and his movies are largely remembered for the actor’s style and panache. He did not only make an entry, he swaggered! A cigarette dangled from his lips, his shirt unbuttoned, tight-fitting trousers, Khan’s onscreen appeal was enigmatic. There is no debating that the charming actor had the makings of a matinee idol. Even though Khan’s potential was realised years later by the industry, the actor was unbothered by opinions and kept on setting a mark. Soon, he became India’s Clint Eastwood— classy, suave, flamboyant, inspired totally by the west. But his style was so much more. Khan’s fashion was futuristic and his iconic looks continue to inspire men of today.
