The year has begun with Ashleigh Barty adding another title to her illustrious career. The World Number One continued her impressive form with a straight-set win against Elena Rybakina in the Adelaide International 2022 final. She won the singles title for the second time in three years. Playing her first tournament since September’s US Open, Ash Barty won the final with 6-3 6-2. After a glorious win, the tennis champion also took to social media and shared glimpses from the Adelaide tournament with the caption, “A very special Sunday.” The two-time Grand Slam champion would next participate at the Australian Open, which starts from January 17, 2022.
