Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s next likely to be titled ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ – Exclusive – Times of India

Action stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are all set to unite for Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming directorial. ETimes has exclusively learned that this entertainer will be on the lines of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and is most likely to be titled the same. To jog your memory, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ featured Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in double roles. Directed by David Dhawan, the film starred Raveena Tandon, Ramya Krishnan, Anupam Kher, Paresh Rawal, Sharat Saxena and Satish Kaushik in supporting roles.

Coming to the new age ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, this entertainer will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar with Vashu Bhagnani bankrolling the project with Jackky and Deepshikha Bhagnani. The film is expected to go on floors in 2022. ETimes reached out to Vashu Bhagnani and Ali Abbas Zafar for a comment, but both are yet to respond to the same. This entertainer will bring together two powerhouse actors and the makers are reportedly aiming for a 2023 release. Akshay is already collaborating with Vashu Bhagnani on ‘Cindrella’ while Tiger is currently to shooting for the producer’s another project – ‘Ganpath’.

Apart from this entertainer, Akshay has a long list of films slated for release, which includes – ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘OMG 2’, ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Gorkha’ and ‘Cinderella’. While Tiger will be seen in ‘Heropanti 2’, ‘Baaghi 4’ and ‘Ganapath’.
