Ajay was born on 26-09-1978 in Vijayawada in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. Ajay is an Indian actor who works primarily in Telugu films, in addition to Tamil and Kannada films. Ajay is known for his work in Telugu cinema and has also worked in Tamil and Kannada movies. Ajay became very famous after doing the Title role in director SS Rajamouli’s Vikramarkudu. Ajay was born and brought up in Vijayawada. His family later moved to Hyderabad. Ajay married Swetha Ravuri in 2005 who entered the Mrs. India Worldwide finals in 2017. The couple has two children.

Ajay was born and brought up in Vijayawada. He did his studies in various places like Vijayawada, Nellore, and Tirupati as his father used to get transferred very frequently. He joined a college in Jubilee Hills to pursue EAMCET long-term in 1995. He enrolled in Madhu Film Institute and completed a course in acting. The actor rates his performance in director Neela Kanta a’s Virodhi as one of his best performances to date.
In addition to Telugu, he has also acted in Kannada and Tamil films as well. He has worked in Tamil films like Kireedam, Koottam, Uyire Uyire, and 24 among others. In the Kannada film industry too, he has worked in hit films such as Saarathi, Katari Veera Surasundarangi, and Myna among others.
