It is obviously great to hang around with like-minded professionals. I get along with this fun bunch of boys. The rest of the stress just takes a backseat when we all step on the pitch. I have been playing with them since 2019. On field, I gel up well with Ranbir. He’s a good player. He plays striker, while I play midfield. We have a good bonding when it comes to coordination. Also, Aparshakti Khurana is a live wire. He is a defender and he’s running on the pitch at all time. We are like brothers on field and we are all fans of Ranbir.”

He’s been seen playing football with Ranbir Kapoor and Tiger Shroff on field quite often. Abhimanyu Dassnai enjoys playing football and is also a part of the All Stars Football Club that has several actors from showbiz as players. Talking about his love for football, Abhimanyu told Bombay Times, “I just love playing football. These two years (of pandemic) in terms of that sport were rather disappointing. Most of the leagues got suspended for a while. And when they got back, they got back without the audience. It is a spectators’ sport. It is a different feeling altogether when there is a live audience watching you play.”
