Samsung, Xiaomi, Apple, OnePlus and Vivo reduced prices of their previous-generation flagship phones after launching their 2021 editions. These price cuts make these ‘powerful’ flagship phones a ‘good buy’. All these phones can be an option for buyers, if the latest-generation phone is not a criteria. Here’s over to the names …
OnePlus 8 Pro: Rs 50,999 (Price cut of Rs 4,000)
OnePlus 8 Pro was launched in India in April last year. The smartphone comes in two variants — 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM priced at Rs 54,999 and Rs 59,999 respectively. However, after the price cut of Rs 4,000, you can get the 8GB RAM version at Rs 50,999 and the 12GB variant at Rs 55,999.
OnePlus 8T: Rs 38,999 (Price cut of R 4,000)
Launched in October last year, the OnePlus 8T comes in two variants 8GB RAM and 12GB and both of them have got a price cut of Rs 4,000. After the price drop, you can purchase the 8GB RAM variant for Rs 38,999 and 12GB RAM variant for Rs 41,999. The OnePlus 8T sports a 48MP quad-rear camera setup and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. The smartphone also consists of dual stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos.
Apple iPhone 12 mini (64GB): Rs 49,999 (Price cut of Rs 19,901)
Prior to the price cut, the base variant of the iPhone 12 mini was selling at Rs 69,900. Now, after getting a price cut of Rs 10,000, it can be purchased at Rs 49,999. The smartphone sports a 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR display and is powered by A14 Bionic chipset.
iPhone 12: Rs 61,699 (Price cut of Rs 18,201)
iPhone 12 got the biggest price cut in India. Previously priced at Rs 79,900, the 64GB model of the iPhone 12 can now be purchased at Rs 61,699, making it a price cut of Rs 14,000. iPhone 12 has a 12MP dual rear camera and is equipped with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display.
iPhone 11: Rs 49,990 (Price cut of Rs 5,000)
This model of the iPhone 11 was previously priced at Rs 54,900. It has got a price cut of Rs 5,000. The smartphone is powered by its own A13 bionic chipset and comes with a 12MP TrueDepth front camera for selfies.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip: Rs 84,999 (Price cut of Rs 24,000)
The clamshell design foldable smartphone from Samsung received a price cut of Rs 24,000 this year. Earlier available at Rs 1,08,999, you can now purchase the smartphone at Rs 84,999. The flip phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor and sports a 6.7-inch full HD display and a 1.1-inch Super AMOLED external display. Running Android, the smartphone houses a 3300mAh battery with 15w fast charging, 9w Qi wireless charging support.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20: Rs 54,999 (Price cut of Rs 22,000)
Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 20 at Rs 76,999 and the smartphone witnessed a price drop of Rs 22,000 bringing down the price to Rs 54,999. It features a 6.7-inch full HD+ display and is powered by an octa-core Exynos 990 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage.
